In accordance with AS/NZS 1715:1994 - Selection, use and maintenance of respiratory protective devices, Employers are responsible for providing a safe working environment for their staff. Not only are the respirators required to conform to safety standards (AS/NZS 1716), but the air that is provided must also be safe to breath.

How do you know?

Apart from an obvious odour...it can be very difficult to tell unless tested properly. Bayteck offers a yearly Air Quality test that will be carried out by trained technicians. We can then advise you whether the air tested at various test points is safe, and if not, what we recommend to rectify the problem.
