Compressed air installs require careful planning

Compressed air installs are unique and never the same. The amount of factors involved vary largely in every compressed air installation. Things to consider include:

  • How much pressure is needed?
  • What is the required CFM?
  • What length does the air need to travel?
Accurate air compressor system design will result in efficiency and lower cost operation. An important factor to consider is future requirements, having the capacity to expand is important.

Full installation service for industrial air lines and compressed air pipes and air hoses

The design of your air line is also crucial to the performance of the compressed air setup. Air pressure drops over distance, so it is vitally important to select the correct air line size. Using high-quality, low-resistance piping improves the performance of your compressed air system. Bayteck Systems uses Airnet and Maxair piping.

Bayteck Systems has decades of experience designing, supplying and installing compressed air line systems. From small, low use pipe-work, to large scale new factory installs, we cover all applications.

To spec the correct compressed air line setup, a consultation and site visit is carried out, then a quote will be provided to confirm the scope of work.
Installing compressed air pipe is a process that takes knowledge, experience and careful workmanship to ensure your business has an efficient and reliable compressed air supply. The process of selecting the correct size, design, correct number of outlets and accessories is all taken care of by our team. Recommendation will be given depending on your usage and the air consumption of your tools and equipment, and future growth and expansion will be considered.

You’ll find a large range of air compressor lines and fittings in our stock at all times, of all types and sizes. If you are looking to install your own compressed air lines, we can give advice and supply you with all necessary air hoses, fittings, joiners and accessories.

Air receiver tanks are essential when it comes to compressed air systems.

If you have a compressed air setup in your workshop, chances are you will have a receiver or compressed air tank fitted. Having the correct size is important, it will ensure the compressor is not overworking and causing unnecessary wear and tear. In a typical compressed air setup, it is recommended to have a receiver sized at 6-10 times the rate of flow of the system. Having a large supply of compressed air will ensure you have a constant flow of air at consistent pressure.

Storing compressed air in your receiver not only helps take load off your commercial air compressor and offers other benefits including lowering the temperature of the compressed air. As well as this, it creates a more stable flow of air.

Bayteck Systems can carry out an assessment of your fitout and then fit and certify your system. As expert compressor suppliers, we can supply all the equipment and parts you need as well as install them for you. Contact us to discuss your system requirements.
