Bayteck Systems recommends Maxair pipes

Air pressure drops over distance, so it is vitally important to select the correct airline size. Using high-quality, low-resistance piping also improves the performance of your compressed air system.

To achieve this, we use Maxair PE100 compressed air pipe systems.

These are manufactured with the highest-grade polyethylene pipe and are one of the most robust, versatile, and efficient compressed air systems available. Maxair pipe systems are corrosion-free and leak-free and withstand impacts well.

The pipes meet New Zealand's health and safety guidelines and are approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (MAF) making them safe for food-based industries and systems designed to deliver breathing air. The pipes are sleeved in blue to conform to international compressed air colour coding standards.

Their modular design and simple-to-install fittings ensure correct fitting with your setup and they are backed with a 50-year guarantee.

Air receiver tanks are essential when it comes to compressed air systems

If you have a compressed air setup in your workshop, chances are you will have a receiver or compressed air tank fitted. Having the correct size is important, it will ensure the compressor is not overworking and causing unnecessary wear and tear. In a typical compressed air setup, it is recommended to have a receiver sized at 6-10 times the rate of flow of the system. Having a large supply of compressed air will ensure you have a constant flow of air at consistent pressure.

Storing compressed air in your receiver not only helps take load off your commercial air compressor and offers other benefits including lowering the temperature of the compressed air. As well as this, it creates a more stable flow of air.
